Welcome to the show notes for episode three. In this episode, you’ll get a glance at what Wil and Tyra do on a daily basis to get their geek on. We’re happy to announce that we are going to be appearing at Conjuration in a few weeks on several panels. So, keep reading for more information about our daily geeky, Wil’s experience at Games for Change, our Conjuration panels, as well as other local Atlanta and Chattanooga conventions. Let’s get our geek on!
Currently, on a daily basis Wil is playing Marvel Strike Force on his phone. Laura, Wil’s wife, is still playing Pokémon Go - as is Tyra and her husband.

Tyra is currently playing several games on her phone. Here are her current favorites.
Emoji Blitz
Toon Blast - because my husband is obsessed
Puzzle Page

Wil attended a conference about creating games for gaming educators.

He attended on a whim and a chance to help his students. His takeaway is that gaming is a valuable medium for learning. Wil is also launching an esports team at a rural school.

Tyra is just off co-chairing a writers conference - she referred to it as an adventure in insanity.

Fandom conferences - we are appearing at Conjuration!
We are going to be podcasting live! Conjuration will be Wil’s first other con!

    Tyra

My writing will focus on gadgets, gaming and geekdom with a side of social media, because frequently that's how I get my geek on.

    Nix

My writing will focus on a geek perspective to life, politics, gaming, etc.  The question one must ask is "to geek or not to geek?"
